We have respected the game of Golf and history and traditions. Bushwood Golf Club has not made any significant changes to this par 3 hole since the days of Dun Rovin.
Timeless Design
When we looked at the old photographs of Dun Rovin, we noticed the timeless design of the green. We actively nurture the very large Oak Tree on the right shadowing the landscape and the challenge it represents.
You must pick a particular spot to attack the green near the center or to the right because of this iconic tree.
Drawing Inspiration
The size of the green shrinks with the oak tree and the sand trap nearby. We have paid attention to what the course looked like over the years, this part of the property that looks the same as the original design.
Our guests are excited about playing this hole and the daily interaction of target golf. It takes drive and determination not to bogey this hole.

Narrow Green
The Seventh Hole offers a challenging experience to novice and professional golfers alike. Bushwood Golf Club is host to our Bushwood Junior Classic and host to the Scramble Scramble Tournament (adult - junior partnership).
This hole is often awarded the 'Closest to the Hole' challenge for many outings held here at Bushwood Golf Club. It also offers a favorite photo opportunity.
HOLE EIGHT
Enjoy the Challenge. 130 yards
The Eighth Hole at Bushwood Golf Club is the most beautiful that we have to offer. It is certainly an 'I have arrived' moment from tee to green.
Challenging Commitment
From the tee box you will see the spectacular pond and golf fairway view of the challenge ahead. You will need a good tee shot to clear the hazard. Beyond the fairway lies the spacious green with a hidden sand trap near by.
You can easily see that this hole is a Bushwood favorite for every golfer.

This hole is designed to test the player's eye, determination and concentration. With multiple tee boxes, Bushwood allows players to navigate this hole at a level worthy of their skill. However the back tee will be a soul searching experience for your golfing skills.
